Pool
The Borough Community Pool, located at the corner of Spiegel Street and
Stanley Avenue, affords the community a relief from the hot weather to
enjoy a refreshing dip every summer.
The pool is open seven days a week.
Noon to 7:00 p.m.
The Borough seasonally hires a Pool Manager, guards, and cashiers, to
staff the Pool. Patrons may either pay at the door to gain entrance or
buy a season pass.
Rates are as follows:
Passes may be purchased at Borough Hall from 8:30AM
to 4:30PM Monday through Friday. Passes will not be sold at the pool.

PROPER ATTIRE IS REQUIRED: No droopy drawers, no suits below the knee,
no cut-offs of any kind, no thongs, no T-shirts.
RULES FOR SALE OF SEASON PASSES
- Season Pass
A pass that may be used for entering the pool at anytime the pool is
in operation. At no time may an individual enter the pool when the pool
is closed. The pass must be shown upon entering the pool and will be
surrendered to the cashier. Upon exiting the pool, the pass shall be
returned to the individual holder.
- Twilight/Weekend Pass is defined as:
A pass that may be used for entering the pool between the hours of 5:00
p.m.-until closing, Monday -Friday and Noon -until closing, Saturday
and Sunday.
- Family is defined as follows:
One (1) or more persons occupying a single dwelling unit and living
together, as a single housekeeping unit in relationship based upon birth,
marriage, adoption or other domestic bond. A family shall also include
five (5) or fewer persons not related by birth. A roomer, boarder or
lodger shall not be considered a member of the family. A person, relative
visiting for the summer shall not be considered part of the family.
Children 18 years of age and older shall be consider part of the family
if they are enrolled and attending college.
- Single is defined as follows:
An adult person, male or female, 18 years or older, unmarried, living
in a home or apartment. For persons unmarried and living together, each
person shall be considered a single person for determining sale of passes.
- Senior Citizen is defined as follows:
A person having achieved the age of 62 years or older and eligible for
Medicare.
The applicant shall fill out an application for obtaining a season pool
pass. The applicant shall provide truthful information concerning the
number of adults and children that a pass is requested for. In the event
that the Borough uncovers misleading, misrepresented and untruthful
statements, the Borough shall reserve the right to determine whether
it will allow the family and/or individual the privileges of the Pool.
