Police Department

The Borough maintains a 24 hours / 7 days police department under the control of the Mayor.

The Department is currently staffed by a Chief, Six (6) Patrol Officers, One (1) Sergeants, One (1) Criminal Investigator and a Data Clerk/Secretary. The Borough also hires P/T Patrol Officers to supplement shifts not regularly filled by the F/T Officers.

The Borough Police Department is responsible for the protection of property and life and has been in existence since the Borough incorporated.
