The Borough maintains a 24 hours / 7 days police department under the control of the mayor. The Department is currently staffed by a Chief, Twelve (12) Patrol Officers, One (1) Sergeant, One (1) Criminal Investigator and a Police Secretary. The Borough uses Part-time Patrol Officers to supplement shifts not regularly filled by the Full-time Officers.
