Fountain Hill Fire Department is station 34 for Lehigh County dispatch center.
Currently, the Department has 30 members including volunteer Fire fighters and fire police, In 2006 the Department ran 244 fire calls; damages $790,900; 3,908 man hours, including dwelling, structure, Automatic Fire alarms, Motor Vehicle accident, Public service calls and fire police only calls.
The Department also has a seven person Fire Dept. Auxiliary which is
primarily used for assistance with fundraisers and social events.
We are currently seeking membership for both Fire Dept. and auxiliary members. If Interested, please stop by the firehouse to fill out an application Training nights are every Monday 6:30 till 9 pm.
The Borough maintains a Volunteer Fire Department, whose officers are elected by the local Fountain Hill Hose Company. Borough Council is ultimately responsible for the appointment of the line officers.
