CODE ENFORCEMENT

The Borough decided to opt in the enforcement of the new State Uniform Construction Code (UCC) known as Act 45. Act 45 requires that the Borough retain a certified building official to administer the UCC. The Borough has retained the firm of Keystone Consulting Engineering as the third party agency for all types of inspection. The Borough also has a part time code enforcement officer on staff to address any questions concerning whether a permit is required for certain projects. Please contact Joseph C. Gatta at 610-867-5124. Mr. Gatta can discuss with you the type of permits required and the cost of the permit. Please see the Fee Schedule approved by Council.
