CODE ENFORCEMENT

The Borough decided to opt in the enforcement of the new State Uniform Construction Code (UCC) known as Act 45. Act 45 requires that the Borough retain a certified building official to administer the UCC. The Borough has retained the firm of Keystone Code Consulting & Enforcement, Inc. as the third party agency for all types of inspection. The Borough also has a part time code enforcement officer on staff to address any questions concerning whether a permit is required for certain projects. Please contact Joseph C. Gatta at 610-867-5124. Mr. Gatta can discuss with you the type of permits required and the cost of the permit. Please see the Fee Schedule approved by Council.
