Fountain Hill Response to Coronavirus

Due to the outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and Governor Wolf's recent declaration of an emergency, the Fountain Hill Borough Administrative office will be CLOSED to the public for two weeks, effective immediately, through March 27, 2020.

Committee Meetings- all meetings are as needed
Police - First Monday starting at 5:45 p.m.
Finance, Public Works, Personnel, House & Ordinance - First Wednesday of each month starting at 5:30 p.m.
Fire, Health & Sanitation, Recreation - Third Wednesday of each month starting at 5:30 p.m.
In keeping with Governor Wolf 's recent declaration of emergency regarding Coronvirus, State Representative Jeanne McNeil's satellite office hours (located inside Fountain Hill Borough Hall ) every Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. will be cancelled until further notice. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. The safety of our residents is our top priority with the current situation.

NOTICE Re: Handicap Parking
If you are listed in our files as a holder of a Handicap Parking sign, Resolution 89-10 states the following:
“At any time after one year from the date the handicap parking space is approved by Borough Council, the Borough may require the applicant or a member of his household to submit re-application with a physician’s certification as of the date of such re-application and if the applicant fails to file such re-certification or to meet the criteria for the handicapped parking space, the Borough shall terminate forthwith the handicapped parking space provided for such applicant.”
The necessary form can be picked up at Borough Hall, Monday thru Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, or by going to the Borough web site, www.fountainhill.org. Go to Administration, Permits, and download the Handicap Parking Renewal.
This document must be received by May 7th of each year or the Borough will proceed to remove the signage for the handicap parking space.
