600BLK OSTRUM STREET ROAD CLOSURE – MAY 17 7AM-5PM
Due to a sewer break, the Borough and its contractor will have Ostrum Street closed between Brighton Street (we will close to the thru traffic at Uncas Street, but the St. Luke’s parking deck traffic and local residents can access Brighton Street) and Mohican Street.
The SLUHN parking lots will be accessible from the Mohican Street and Ostrum Street intersection, but Ostrum will be completely closed, including for emergency vehicles.
The detour will be in place from 7am until 5pm, and hopefully just for Tuesday, May 17. If we need to finish work on Wednesday morning, they will plate the road so it can be used overnight. We will update tomorrow if a Wednesday closure is required.
Please see the map below, with the closure being denoted by the red line and the accessible detour routes in yellow highlight.
We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding while we work to correct this sewer issue.
