Code EnforcementThe Borough decided to opt in the enforcement of the new State Uniform Construction Code (UCC) known as Act 45. Act 45 requires that the Borough retain a certified building official to administer the UCC. The Borough has retained the firm of KeyCodes Inspection Agency, Inc. as the third party agency for all types of inspection. The Borough also has a part-time code enforcement officer on staff to address any questions concerning whether a permit is required for certain projects. Please contact Albert Rohrbach at 610-867-5124 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday or email Mr. Rohrbach can discuss with you the type of permits required and the cost of the permit. The new Fee Schedule will be posted upon approval by Council. The Borough will assist you in determining whether a building permit is required. Ordinances and Resolutions

All Borough ordinances have been codified into a Code of Ordinance book available to view at the Borough office, 941 Long Street. The Borough updates this every year. The enforcement of these ordinances is primarily the responsibility of the Police Department unless otherwise specified in the Ordinance.
